An individual time trial was raced at Briagalong on Sunday 9th September to determine who was to be the 2018 Club Champion. The race also doubled as a Wellington vs Bairnsdale competition, with other club participants also welcome to come along. Grant Smith as usual did a great job running the event, complicated by it being an unusually busy day in Briagalong due to there being a market in the car park where the race was to be marshalled. Jim Timmer-Arrends (Latrobe) prevailed in the breezy conditions with the fastest time, while Aaron Wain took out the Club Championship with the second fastest time overall. Bairnsdale took out the inter-club honours based on an aggregate of the four fastest times from each club.
